Never heard of this guy before reading your post, and after checking out a couple of his videos I would say definitely not my taste. Maybe I"m out of the loop but it is worthy of explanation how low quality reality TV style skits like this gather such a massive cult following.
I do think there is value in watching what people would call trashy TV like Keeping Up with the Kardashians because you can learn something about modern pop culture... but otherwise mind numbing
How The Bachelor, Kardashians, and even non-reality shows like The Office have low brow drama, humour, and intrigue but are big hits.
I suspect it’s along the lines of of recycling a tried-and-tested pattern of storytelling, manufacturing a process that spits out content that gets the majority of likes/views/laughs.
